Rule #36

The creative mind works best when it works uninterrupted.

I’ve never been able to get a non-creative client or employer to understand the importance of “finding a groove” creatively. Constant interruptions, rescheduled or impromptu meetings, and similar re-tasking wreak havoc to the creative process. Once lost, it’s extremely difficult to find that train of thought again quickly—even if the interruption is just a quick 5-minute chat.
